This page was created to guide and assist the Heddon Tiny Torpedo lure collector. You will also find some information, colors and pictures on Heddon Magnum Torpedo, Heddon Baby Torpedo and Heddon Teeny Torpedo lures. Just click on the color code and see what the Torpedo looks like. If you are not familiar with Heddon's color codes then look at the description. You can also type in a color of the lure on the search button and all the Torpedoes with that particular color should show up. The original eight Heddon Tiny Torpedo colors introduced in 1952 were: BF, L, RH, RHF, XBW, XRS, XRW & XRY. The original eight colors can all be found in the tiny eye version. These Tiny eyed Heddon Tiny Torpedoes came in a cellophane window boxes. These boxes were also found in the Heddon Tiny Trio spinning kits. I will try to cover as many changes/ variations in colors, propellers, boxes, cards, eyes and lettering as I possibly can. I do not have all the Heddon Torpedo colors in my collection, therefore I'm asking anyone and everyone for their help.  As we know the possibilities and variations can be endless. The ranking system of colors bellow is my opinion, hence the name "MY RANKING SYSTEM". It should not be used as a means to value, trade or price these lures. Lures are ranked by how often that particular lure appears on shows, internet sites and auction sites. If you see that you have or know someone who has a variation Torpedo please pass this page along. Hopefully with this page new colors and variations of Heddon Torpedo lures will surface. I've yet to find a tackle box without a Heddon Torpedo in it! Under no circumstances, way, shape or form am I related to the Heddon and Sons Dowagiac, Michigan lure company!
